Welcome to the
Acho Dene Koe Group of Companies
OUR GENERAL PARTNER – ADK HOLDINGS LTD
Growth and Evolution
In 1976, the Acho Dene Group of Companies was established with the creation of its first Indigenous‑owned enterprise, Beaver Enterprises Limited Partnership, since that time, our Group of Companies have evolved into a progressive and diversified organization. This growth has required a highly structured and accountable relationship between the businesses and its majority shareholder and general partner – Acho Dene Koe First Nation, ensuring that business success is aligned with community priorities and long‑term Nation‑building.
As oil and gas activity has declined in our Traditional Territory, we made a strategic decision to diversify its economic base. Since then, we have built a broad portfolio of wholly owned businesses, joint ventures, and minority equity investments. These enterprises reflect our community’s resilience, entrepreneurial spirit, and willingness to think boldly and creatively. Each business contributes to a shared success story rooted in innovation and self‑determination.
Our commitments extend far beyond financial returns. We champion environmentally responsible practices, healthy partnerships, and balanced economic, social, and environmental outcomes. Guided by a tradition of hard work and mutual benefit, we remain Open to Business—ready to forge innovative pathways that embrace change and position our Nation for a bright and sustainable future.
The Acho Dene Koe Group of Companies continues to explore new and emerging opportunities. We welcome partnerships that align with our values, strengthen regional capacity, and create meaningful benefits for our people. We are open to business, open to innovation, and open to building shared prosperity.
