Beaver Enterprises Limited Partnership (est. 1976) is a solely owned Indigenous heavy civil contractor incorporated in the Northwest Territories and British Columbia and registered with the Hamlet of Fort Liard and maintaining workers compensation insurance clearance for both the Northwest Territories and British Columbia; we deliver road and highway construction, bridge construction and repair, oil and gas wellsite servicing (access roads and wellsite pads), highway and airport maintenance (including winter operations), civil engineering works (drainage, culverts, erosion control), and residential renovations and alterations for clients.

We hold ongoing contracts with territorial and provincial governments, are listed in the Government of Canada’s Indigenous Business Directory and are recognized under the Government of the Northwest Territories’ Business Incentive Policy, reflecting our commitment to regulatory compliance, safety, and responsible operations.

Beaver holds or secures all industry‑specific licences and permits required for heavy civil construction and related activities in the jurisdictions where we operate. This includes contractor licences, vehicle and equipment registrations, and project‑specific permits such as land‑use, road‑access, and temporary works permits. Copies of current licences and permits are available on request and can be provided with RFP submissions.

We maintain commercial general liability insurance, contractor’s all‑risk coverage, and other policy lines appropriate to construction operations. Bonding capacity is in place for public and private contracts; specific limits and surety details can be provided with tender documentation. Insurance certificates and bonding letters are available upon request to meet RFP requirements.

Beaver adheres to territorial and provincial regulatory frameworks governing construction, environmental protection, and land use.
