Acho Arctic Construction Joint Venture is an Indigenous-owned partnership between the Acho Dene Koe Group of Companies and Arctic Construction Ltd. (ACL) of Fort St. John, British Columbia. Formed in December 2024, this joint venture expands construction capacity across the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and British Columbia, strengthening the presence of Beaver Enterprises Limited Partnership for larger and more complex projects.

Acho Arctic Construction brings together the community‑driven vision of the Acho Dene Koe Group of Companies with the proven expertise of Arctic Construction Ltd.—a fourth‑generation civil construction company founded in 1953.
Arctic Construction Ltd., locally known in British Columbia as – ACL has played a foundational role in developing Northern BC’s oil and gas fields and continues to deliver high‑quality civil, resource, and infrastructure projects across Northern BC, Northern Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.
This partnership creates a powerful combination of Indigenous leadership, regional experience, and technical capability, enabling us to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality construction services throughout remote and northern regions.
- Ownership of the partnership is structured as follows:
- 51% held by ADK Holdings Ltd.
- 49% held by Arctic Construction Ltd.
Acho Arctic Construction Joint Venture is registered with the Indigenous Business Directory of the Government of Canada and qualifies under the Government of Northwest Territories’ Business Incentive Policy (BIP).

- Insurance, Bonding & Compliance
ACL maintains the full suite of insurance and bonding required for public and private sector construction projects:
- Commercial General Liability (CGL)
- Contractor’s All Risk coverage
- Additional policy lines appropriate to construction operations
- Bonding capacity for tenders and awarded contracts
- Specific limits and surety details are available with tender submissions
- Insurance certificates and bonding letters provided upon request
We also maintain Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) coverage in both British Columbia and the Northwest Territories, and we are registered with the Hamlet of Fort Liard as a business.

As found with Beaver Enterprises Limited Partnership, safety is foundational to our operations for Acho Arctic Construction Joint Venture. Through our partnership, ACL has brought new partnership safety systems that meet or exceed all applicable provincial and territorial legislation. This includes:

- BC COR Certification
- NWT COR Certification
