At Acho Aurora Construction, we specialize in delivering high-quality renovation, remodeling, and construction solutions across homes, offices, retail spaces, and community facilities. From kitchens and flooring to garage suites, additions, and complete interior and exterior upgrades, our expertise covers every detail of modern building needs. What sets us apart is our proven ability to succeed in Northern Canadian construction, where resourcefulness, patience, and adaptability are essential. For over a decade, our team has thrived in extreme climates—working efficiently in snow, ice, and sub-zero temperatures with specialized equipment and materials designed for harsh conditions.

We are equally skilled in remote logistics, navigating limited access, long supply chains, and unpredictable weather to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Our partnership with Aurora Construction and RSI Modular is built on respect for Indigenous communities and land rights, making cultural awareness and collaboration central to our operations.

Sustainability is at the heart of our approach. We continually implement environmentally responsible practices, ensuring our projects not only meet today’s standards but also contribute to long-term stewardship of the land.

Finally, our strength lies in our permanent, highly skilled workforce. With an average tenure of 10 years, our employees embody resilience and expertise in northern construction. Supported by competitive wages, ongoing training, and comfortable accommodations, they form the backbone of our success.

Together, Acho Aurora Construction and Aurora Construction deliver customized, durable, and community-focused solutions—capable of managing projects up to $50 million in value, across both remote and urban regions of Canada.

Acho Aurora Construction is listed in the Government of Canada’s Indigenous Business Directory and recognized under the Government of the Northwest Territories’ Business Incentive Policy (BIP), reflecting our commitment to regulatory compliance, safety, and responsible operations. These designations reinforce our capacity to deliver government‑grade projects and our dedication to supporting Indigenous economic participation.

We maintain commercial general liability insurance, contractor’s all‑risk coverage, and other policy lines appropriate to construction operations. We have bonding capacity in place for public and private contracts; specific limits and surety details can be provided with tender documentation. Insurance certificates and bonding letters are available upon request to meet RFP requirements.

As with most of the Acho Dene Koe Group of Companies, we carry clearance for workers compensation insurance in both British Columbia and Northwest Territories with business registry with the Hamlet of Fort Liard.

Guided by Indigenous ownership, we prioritize local hiring, training opportunities, and meaningful engagement with Fort Liard and surrounding communities to maximize local economic benefits.

We deliver high-quality, sustainable construction solutions that meet the unique needs of northern and remote communities. Currently we are focused on three key residential construction needs:
  1. Multi-family & Senior Homes
Through our partnership with Aurora Construction, Acho Aurora Construction is specializing in designing and building Indigenous led-multi-family units and Seniors’ Homes on shared land, ensuring spacious, functional layouts that align with client budgets and optimize available space.
  1. Modular Housing
Building on the pride that Aurora Construction has in offering high-quality modular housing solutions as the official retailer of SRI Regent – Canada’s leading manufacturer of modular and manufactured homes. Acho Aurora Construction has joined with RSI and Aurora Construction in partnership to ensure that every home we deliver embodies exceptional craftsmanship, modern innovation, and rigorous quality assurance. Whether for residential or multi-family needs, our modular housing options offer efficient, durable, and beautifully designed living spaces tailored for life in the North.
  1. Renovation & Remodelling
ADK Holdings Ltd has joined partnership with Aurora Construction Ltd because Aurora Construction is a trusted leader in renovation and remodelling across homes, offices, retail, and hospitality spaces. Through our partnership, we are quickly being known for residential expertise that spans kitchens, flooring, garage suites, additions, and full-scale interior and exterior transformations.
